So, actually, I lied. I’m not from Seattle.
Technically, I grew up about 30 miles north of the Emerald City. Naming a hometown is a little difficult considering I moved around more than most, but I wouldn’t change a thing; moving schools taught me adaptability and the importance of family. Being familiar with rain, my favorite days consist of bundling up with a warm blanket, watching reality TV, and laughing with my friends and family. That, of course, includes my cat named Minnie. I LOVE CATS!!!
I spent my first three years of college in Philadelphia at the University of the Arts which unfortunately and abruptly closed the summer before my senior year. Time to move again! With a long lasting dream to move to New York City, transferring to Pace University and earning a BFA in Musical Theater was a no brainer.
When I think about my career, I can’t help but picture the glitz and glam of Broadway. However, storytelling is my main objective. Whether it be tour, regional, black box, or the big screen, I want to find myself in work that holds up a mirror to the audience - demanding reflection through the lens of theatre magic.
